Asha Negi, an Indian actress who works in Hindi television, was born on August 23, 1989. Negi first featured on television in 2010 as Madhura in Star Plus' Sapnon Se Bhare Naina, and then in 2011 as Apeksha Malhotra in Ekta Kapoor's Bade Achhe Lagte Hain on Sony TV. That year, she had her breakthrough in Kapoor's soap opera Pavitra Rishta, in which she played Purvi Deshmukh from 2011 until 2014. In 2013, she and Pavitra Rishta co-star and partner Rithvik Dhanjani won the sixth season of the Indian dance reality show Nach Baliye. Her other appearances include Suhana/Kalpana in Zee TV's Ek Mutthi Aasmaan and Koyal in Star Plus' Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan, as well as an appearance in the sixth season of Colors TV's stunt-based adventure series, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi. In 2019, she played Gauravi Karmakar alongside Sharman Joshi in Shahid Kapoor's online series Baarish.
