Different things became the standard on social media at different times of the pandemic. It started with recordings of celebrities receiving their Covid tests, then pictures of plasma donations began to circulate, and most lately, photos and videos of vaccinations have taken the internet by storm. While the goal may be to raise awareness, it irritated actor Asha Negi, who also expressed her displeasure with celebrities for pushing the trend further. Negi highlighted her dissatisfaction with the situation in an Instagram story last month, writing: “To all actresses who are broadcasting their vaccination footage... Yaar awareness ke liye theek hai, but please don't overact at kiya Karo, itni irritating ho jata hai.”
